THE AMIGOS OF ST. PAUL'S
So who are these Amigos of St. Paul's anyway?

“The Amigos are a ragtag bunch of folks who show up every week to tinker with whatever they feel like fixin”. Membership varies from zero to as many as we can stand, as long as they are downwind.”

Actually, we are a disorganized (some say disoriented) group of people who like to have fun fixing or painting or building or planting or goofing off. We have no membership requirements and no particular schedule. One thing we are not....is bored. One thing we are.... is the doit arm of the Property Committee.

After many variations, “meeting day” has been established as Thursday, beginning about 8:30am in the Parsonage kitchen, with breakfast , usually interrupted by lunch, and generally finishing up at around 3pm.

The “Amigos” name came about from one of the previous Property chairmen having once attended a movie. (They say your taste in movies reflects your intellectual level). It a famous comedy movie starring Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short called "Three Amigos”, so he stuck the name on the highly competent, alert, professionals who were doing the day-to-day recovery and reconstruction work around St. Paul’s 1830ish buildings.

There is always work that has to be done and members can do any chore that has to be tackled, so JOIN UP!
