    THIS WEEK'S EVENTS
  • GODSPELL! JULY 10, 8:00 PM
    A group of St. Paul's college student, all alumni of ACTS, have come together to put on Godspell this summer. They are a high energy, student run group who bring fresh energy and vision to this amazing musical about the life of Jesus. There will be one show at St. Paul's on July 10 at 8:00 PM. There is no charge for tickets. A free will offering will be taken. After the local show, the group will go out to other area churches for two road shows. Godspell is a truly inspiring show with some of the best music ever on Broadway. Come to see the show and support our young adults who continue to dedicate their time and talents to our thriving theater ministry. Huzzah!

  • ST. PAUL'S HABITAT FOR HUMANITY PROJECT
    We have broken ground for the West Chester Habitat for Humanity House. The proceeds of the Souper Bowl and the Road Rally are being put to good use as be begin to move earth on Poplar Street in West Chester. St Paul's, St Luke, Zion & Calvary have all joined in. We will be working roughly one Saturday a month to build this house together & we will need you! There are plenty of weekday opportunities, too. Please contact Gail Elliot for details.

  • DIAKONIA INFORMATION NIGHT
    DIAKONIA is a 2-year theological training and spiritual formation program for laity that emphasizes the vocation of all Christians to serve as Christ served us. Anyone interested in this opportunity to enhance their Christian education and equip themselves for ministry and service to the church is encouraged to attend an information night on July 16th at 7 pm at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Coatesville. For info or questions, contact Pastor Mark, or Christine Turner at 484-459-3838.

  • VBS 7/27-7/31
    Join us for a week of VBS fun as we go to Crocodile Dock - Where Fearless Kids Shine God's Light! VBS takes place July 27th - July 31st from 9am to noon for kids ages 4 (by 1/1/09) through 4th grade. Sunday School children will be receiving a registration form in class and more forms can be found in the narthex or at the St. Paul's website under the VBS link in the coming week. We hope to see you there!!! Watch for volunteer information!

  • ACTS, JR. SUMMER WORKSHOP 8/23-8/30
    If your child has finished 1st through 5th grade, sign them up for the ACTS, Jr. Summer Theater Workshop production of the epic musical drama "Esther". We also need adult and teen volunteers for the band, stage crew, costumes, make-up, etc. The rehearsals start after church on Sunday, August 23 at 11.15 (bring a bagged lunch). We meet M-F from 6:00-7:30. We have a pool party on Saturday. The show is after the late service on Sunday, August 30. Many of our current stars started with these workshops, and we always have a blast! Cost is $20 for the first child, and $5 for each additional child in the family. Scholarships are available. Contact Marty Schmidt, Lisa Diewald, or Dawn Beck for details. Forms are in the hallway. Please put completed forms in Lisa's mailbox under the stairs.

  • INTERESTED IN MEMBERSHIP?
    Please contact the office if interested. Courses are held throughout the year. For those of you who aren’t members, you are welcome to get involved in any of the social, educational, service, and worship offerings of the congregation.
  • REJOICING SPIRITS SPECIAL WORSHIP
    Join other St. Paul’s members and the local community for this service that reaches out to individuals with developmental disabilities. The services are held on the SECOND Sunday each month at 4:00 PM. Contact Susan Crawford for information.
  • IN-TOUCH MINISTRY
    An in-reach ministry that connects all our members through In Touch Coordinators. Contact Pastor Mark for information.
  • ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
    Please take a flyer from the Lobby Literature Rack to learn about the various adult Christian Education programs. Contact Ron Dziuk
  • TROUPE OF ACTS
    Teen Theater Ministry performs one major production each year, and are active in St. Paul’s worship events as well as “road shows” throughout the year. Contact Dawn Beck or Marty Schmidt if you are interested.
  • STEPHEN MINISTRY
    Provides confidential, one-to-one Christian care for people experiencing challenges in their lives such as hospitalization, loss of a loved one, loneliness, divorce, un­employment, birth of a child, and many other life events for which a person could benefit from an effective helping and caring ministry.
  • THE AMIGOS
    The Amigos are a disorganized (some say disoriented) group of people who like to have fun fixing or painting or building or planting or goofing off. We have no membership requirements. One thing we are not: bored. One thing we are: the "Do it!" arm of the Property Committee. Drop by any Thursday morning and join in the fun.

    A CHANCE TO LEARN
  • Evening Bible Study Tuesdays from 7:15-8:30 PM
    Tired of coming home at night and tuning into the evening news to find out all the bad news that has happened during the day? Come to hear the GOOD NEWS, and feel hopefulness lifting your spirits! The Applegates lead a small adult group that prays together, support each other, and enjoy Christian fellowship. The beginning topic will be the Gospel of Mark. The Applegates will be continuing their study class of the New Testament on Tuesday evenings, Beginning Sept. 18. The book is TBA.

  • Young Mom's Bible Study, Wednesday Mornings 9:15-10:30 a.m.
    The young mom’s Bible study meets every Wednesday morning in room H from 9:15—10:30 a.m. Babysitting is available. This study is directed at mothers of young and school age children. We read and discuss the Bible and apply its teachings to our everyday lives. We’re a lively group who gains strength from our shared experiences and grow in understanding from our unique perspectives. Questions: contact Erika Ferretti. Please join us!

  • Intro to Christian Theology Classes meet on Thursday evening in the parsonage at 7 PM.
    Art Beck is leading the class. Contact him for details.

  • Adult Sunday School Classes held on Sundays from 9:30-10:30am. Classes run from kickoff through the last day of SCS.
    Contemporary Issues – (Rm I upstairs), led by Dorothy & Tom Krynkow.

  • St. Paul's Preschool is collecting ACME register receipts for our newest fundraising opportunity. The preschool will receive 1% of what you spend at ACME.
