Young Youtherans (K thru 5th) will have a Sweets Heart Social on Saturday, Feb. 25th, 6:30—8:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles: escort your young “sweetheart” for an evening of sweets, dessert, & dancing! Reserve your spot now by emailing youngyoutherans@stpaulslionville.org WOMEN OF FAITH RETREAT March 2-3 Save the dates for the rescheduled Women's Retreat. The kick off dinner will be held on Friday, 3/2. The retreat will be held on Saturday, 3/3. Both events will be held at Pat Shinehouse's home. You can still sign up on the sheet in the hallway. Cost if $15, lunch included. All women of St. Paul's and their friends are invited. READ ON... ANNOUNCEMENTS RARE BIRDS PIZZA PARTY, TUESDAY 2/14, NOON Join the Rare Birds for a fabulous pizza party on Tuesday, February 14 at the parsonage. We provide the pizza...you provide the fellowship. Lunch at 12 noon. We are breaking attendance records these days. Come on out and help us continue the trend! RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE THURSDAY, MARCH 1 Please consider donating blood at the next St. Paul's blood drive, which will be held on Thursday, March 1. This is such a simple way to give someone the gift of life and will only take about an hour of your time. Our goal is 40 pints. Most healthy people who are at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate blood every eight weeks. Please look for the sign-up sheet on the table in the hallway near the life preserver. CRAFTERS - WEDS. MORNINGS 9:30 AM The Crafters meet on Weds. mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Parsonage. Providing care during the Sunday School period should help parents who want to attend adult Christian Ed opportunities as well as those who are interested in helping out with the children?s Sunday School classes. REJOICING SPIRITS ADAPTED WORSHIP Join other St. Paul's members and the local community for this service that reaches out to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Contact Chris Robinson TROUPE OF ACTS Teen Theater Ministry performs one major production each year, and are active in St. Paul's worship events as well as "road shows" throughout the year. The Middle School group, "ACT II", is doing a Spring production, and the "Junior Troupe" has a 1 week summer workshop. Contact Dawn Beck or Marty Schmidt if you are interested. STEPHEN MINISTRY Provides confidential, one-to-one Christian care for people experiencing challenges in their lives such as hospitalization, loss of a loved one, loneliness, divorce, unemployment, birth of a child, and many other life events for which a person could benefit from an effective helping and caring ministry.
