Stewardship – 2010 Answering God’s call to grow at St. Paul’s During our recent in-home meetings, Pastor Mark presented spiritual reasons for giving, council presented an overview of what's been happening at St. Paul's with our 4-year plan, and the stewardship team presented an overview of our 2009 financials, some 2010 proposals with financial requirements, and a plan to achieve them. The stewardship plan for achievement of our 2010 financial goals is to increase our income through new members and by asking existing member to prayerfully consider a Move Up of 1% or Move Up of 1/2 %.
The themes for going forward are as follows:
What we are asking:
If you gave 2% to God’s work in 2009, living on 98%; please prayerfully consider living on 97% and Move Up your giving to St. Paul’s by 1%.
If you give 1% - Move Up to 2%; 3% - Move Up to 4%; 9% - Move Up to 10%, and so on. Or, if you have been negatively affected by the economy please consider a Move Up of ½%. Click here to see a summary of the Stewardship presentation.

Also please pledge your intentions so our leadership can prepare an accurate budget. If you find you can’t meet your pledge down the road, just let us know so we can adjust our plans. Pledging is telling us your intentions not a final commitment.
“Some people say ‘Give till it hurts’ but God says give till it feels goodJ God loves a cheerful giver”.
While we received serveral comments and suggestions at these meetings, we would like to note here two key issues that were raised at the meetings:
If you have questions, comments, or concerns send an email to council@stpaulslionville.org.
God’s peace to everyone, your stewardship team!
