Susan Pursch- Fundraiser & Curriculum Developer for SEKUCo. She led our Synod's team which was instrumental in assisting teh Rev. Dr. Anneth Munga (the bishop's wife) in the development of this university.

The terrain varied greatly, from lush rainforest to mountains to arid desert-like conditions. Pictured here are a Hornbill bird in the Arusha National Park, a mountainous area, and a Termite mound in dry area
This is the city of Tonga as well as a fishing area, just outside of Tonga.

The Youth Choir (under 39). Hydro-electric power is used for electricity (see electrical instuments above). Drought affects not only agricultural production, but electrical power as well. If the water level is too low, power can not be produced. |

The Muheza Congregation - 2 services are held lasting 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Many times parishners overflow to the outside of the church. |

Auction Time. After church the non-monetary donations (chickens, produce, etc) are auctioned off to raise money for the church. |

The trip takes 25 hours to Tanzania, and 30 hours returning, going thru Amsterdam each way. Tanzania is 15 hours ahead of us. |
