A Christian non-profit organization dedicated to repairing homes and restoring hope for low-income homeowners in Chester County. Volunteers extend God's love in a tangible way to families living in substandard housing by working with them to make their homes warmer, safer, and drier. No experience is necessary. Where:
Habitat for Humanity
Building homes for low-income families in need; not a hand-out but a hand-up. Works with families to help them build decent, affordable, owner-occupied housing through an international ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Families work in partnership with Habitat in a sweat equity program to acquire their homes. Two volunteer opportunities are available: the build site (no experience necessary) or the ReStore.
