Craig was born and raised in Montgomery County, PA, a proud graduate of Lower Merion High School.  (Yes, that is Kobe Bryant’s alma mater.  No, he and Kobe did not attend LMHS at the same time – that distinction goes to his brother Eric.)  Having had a grandfather who was a pastor and a mother who is a church organist, it is almost literally true to say that he grew up in the church!  His faith roots run deep, and he has a great appreciation for the history and heritage of the Lutheran church, but also loves to learn about and experience new ways that people are finding to express their faith, and see how God is continually bringing renewal to the body of Christ (and himself!).

Craig has spent most of his adult life serving in youth and family ministries in one capacity or another, either as a paid staff member or a volunteer leader.  After graduating from Juniata College, he did what many liberal arts majors did and went into retail to pay the bills.  He also became part of the volunteer leadership team for the youth group at the congregation where he belonged, a pattern that continued after he moved to Rochester, New York to take a new job.  Just a few short years later, he heard God’s call to return to this area to serve Calvary Lutheran Church in West Chester as Director of Youth Ministry.  He served there for seven years, followed by a twelve-year dive into the realm of higher education administration at Eastern University and the University of Valley Forge.  He's thrilled to be back doing what he loves to do most, where he finds joy. Please check out the Children and Youth Ministry page here.

When he's taking a break and recharging his batteries, you will often find him engaged in photography, music, woodworking, hiking, or bicycling.

Christine Paradise .jpg

Christine is a life-long Lutheran, whose love of sacred music was shaped early on when she attended occasional Russian Orthodox Church services with her grandparents. She grew up in the metro NY area, and has studied organ with various mentors, including Joan Lippincott and Eugene Roan at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. She also studied with Richard Heschke at Concordia College, Bronxville, NY. For over forty years, Christine has played in urban, suburban and rural churches in NY, VA and PA. She always hopes her church music helps people form connections with God so their faith grows.

Christine and Scott, her husband of over thirty years, love living in PA. Christine is a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Lancaster, where Scott serves as Senior Pastor. When not on the organ or piano bench, she loves visiting thrift stores, checking out small coffee shops, and  attending live theater and concerts. Christine is excited to be part of St. Pauls’ team.

Maureen Bellafante grew up in Connecticut and got her undergraduate degree from Loyola College in Maryland and a master’s degree from Thomas Jefferson University. She worked as an Infection Control Coordinator prior to staying home to raise her children. During that time, she did a lot of volunteer work, including creating and administering a school-wide community service program at Saint Elizabeth Parish School.

Maureen and her husband have been married for 25 years and have three daughters in their late teens and early 20s. Her first experience with St. Paul’s was 20 years ago when her children began attending the preschool and attending and volunteering at VBS. After her children moved on to elementary school, Maureen spent five years working as an aide in the preschool, and St. Paul’s has always held a special place in her family’s heart. She is excited to be returning to St. Paul's in this new role.
