About St. Paul's and this position:

We would like to take this opportunity to share a little bit about St. Paul’s. The congregation is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has a long history in the community, having been founded in 1838. Although a historic congregation, St. Paul’s is always looking toward the future. The mission statement of St. Paul’s is, “Grow in Faith, Serve with Love, Invite into Fellowship” and there are numerous activities for children, youth and adults to grow in faith. The congregation is also very proud of many activities to serve and bless the people of the community.

Of particular importance to this position are two Sunday worship services, traditional and contemporary in style in addition to special services throughout the year. (On some special occasions or over the summer there is one combined, blended worship service.) In addition to the congregational hymns and songs that are incorporated into the worship services there are often special musical offerings by the choir, bells and additional musicians. There are numerous musicians of all ages involved in the congregation and the congregation is very engaged in the musical ministry at worship.

The congregation is confidently moving into the future, excited about where God will lead next. We look forward to our next team member and how your gifts of music and team building might bless God’s work at St. Paul’s! We look forward to learning more about you!  If you have questions about this information or about the position, feel free to contact Pastor Stuart.

God Bless!
