New Six Week Worship Series
Starting, Sunday, September 14
At 8:00 or 10:30 am

Fundamentally a church is a place to grow in faith. It’s just three little words, but with profound meaning. Of course, the challenge is how to actually accomplish this. Throughout the Biblical history, one of the most basic ways to accomplish growing in faith has been through faith practices. And one of the most fundamental is prayer. The Bible mentions prayer over 800 times including three parables by Jesus. All the great saints of faith mention prayer. Our own Martin Luther said, "To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing." And yet we must admit, prayer can be difficult, confusing and sometimes our prayer life lacks regularity and passion.

Hence this worship series, which starts on Sunday, September 14, will focus on prayer. Throughout the series we’ll explore various topics like Jesus’ prayer, Paul’s prayers, types of prayer, how to grow in prayer and even the difficulties we experience in prayer. Furthermore, one of the adult classes offered on Sunday morning at 9:15 am between the services will reflect on the scripture and message from the week before. (This class will start on Sunday, September 21.)

We really hope you can worship regularly during this series and more than this, that this series blesses your prayer life!
