    THIS WEEK'S EVENTS
  • REGULAR SCHEDULE SUNDAY, 2/7/10
The Sunday schedule this week will be unchanged, despite the snow event. A team is working on Saturday afternoon to clear driveways, parking spaces and sidewalks. If you can get out of your driveway and neighborhood, come on down! If you are uncomfortable or concerned about driving or walking under these slicker conditions, please don't feel obligated to attend.

  • RARE BIRDS PLANNING MEETING, TUESDAY 2/9/10

Join us in the parsonage on Tuesday, Feb. 9th at 11:00 AM for a potluck lunch followed by a lively discussion of activities for the balance of the year. We need your input to help create an exciting series of trips and programs. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board. Please sign up for this event.

  • HABITAT FOR HUMANITY DATES
The last building dates are Saturday, Feb. 6th & March 13th (& weekdays Feb 2-6, Mar 9-12). Please contact Gail Elliot or sign up in the hallway.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE 3/4/10
Please consider donating blood at the next St. Paul's blood drive, which will be held on Thursday, March 4. This is such a simple way to give someone the gift of life and will only take about an hour of your time. Our goal is 40 pints. Most healthy people who are at least 17 years old & weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate blood every eight weeks. Look for the sign-up sheet on the table outside the office. Times range from 1:30—7:30 pm.

  • BRING PALMS BY 2/14/10 FOR ASHES
You are invited to bring your Palm leaves from last year’s Palm/Passion Sunday worship service. Put them in a basket in the narthex. Those palms will be burned to make the ashes for our Ash Wednesday service on February 17. Those palms from the triumphant entry into Holy Week last year are transformed into the stark reminder of our mortality, and God’s amazing promises, as we enter a new season of Lent.
